Creating accounts in Thena

Thena offers several ways to create and manage accounts. These methods ensure that tickets are correctly mapped to the right accounts based on the requester’s email ID.

Automatic account creation

1. Migrate from Salesforce or HubSpot

   • One-time or recurring syncs are supported.

   • Syncs can be customized based on filters.

2. Connect Slack workspace

   • When you connect a Slack workspace, Thena automatically fetches Slack Connect channels.

3. New domain detection

   • If a new domain is detected via email or live chat ticket, Thena creates a new account automatically.

Manual and programmatic account creation

• Manual creation: Accounts can be created directly in Thena by a team member.

• Programmatic creation: Accounts can be created via API, model context protocol (MCP), or third-party automation platforms such as Zapier and n8n.
